Refund policy
Saddles, electronic items (including clippers, watches, etc.), bits, supplements, and feed are FINAL SALE. Clearance items are final sale.
Saddles are sold "as is" with no warranty implied or perceived by The Tack Trove. We strongly recommend that potential buyers seek professional saddle fitting advice. We also recommend a saddle trial prior to making your final purchase. Saddle trials are available within Canada only for 3 days with a full deposit, email thetacktrove@gmail.com for more information. Saddles purchased off the website are deemed sold and final sale.
Used Items, excluding Final Sale and Saddles
Full refund or exchange/Store Credit if it meets the following criteria within 7 days:
-Must be in the same condition as it left The Tack Trove with the tags attached
-Items must not have been washed, used or altered in any way
-Must be accompanied by the original receipt
While we attempt to ensure that used product descriptions include information about product damage, wear, and/or missing components, flaws can be missed and we do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected. Refunds on products that do not meet your expectations will be reviewed on a case by case basis, where a refund will not be guaranteed for product description inaccuracies or omissions.
New Items, excluding Final Sale and Saddles
Full refund or exchange/Store Credit if it meets the following criteria:
-Fill refund within 7 days of the original purchase if accompanied by the original receipt. After 7 days exchange only within 30 days.
-Must be in the same condition as it left The Tack Trove with tags attached. We suggest you place a sheet on your horse if trying on saddle pads or blankets. Any new tack items with hair or dirt will not be accepted for return.
Refunds generally take 3-5 business days to see the amount credited back to your account. Please note that as of March 1, 2020, Shopify no longer returns transaction fees on refunded sales to businesses (aka us, The Tack Trove) and as such, any issued refunds will be issued less the transaction fee incurred by The Tack Trove for that original purchase.
Online purchasers of consignment pieces: your 7 day period starts the day the package is registered as delivered. You must notify the store within those 7 days if you intend to return the item(s). Item(s) must be returned in the same condition they left the store with all tags attached. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.
